Wedding Guest book

I'm busy with the neighbours wedding invitations.

I have been trying to fit some DT work in with them too.

I needed to make a project for the LOTV inspiration blog

so I combined this with a wedding guest book for my neighbour too.

Morning, Cant believe we are already halfway through January,

Finally got the insurance sorted for our car,

Time to have fun

Good morning,

We have real miserable, wet and windy weather here today

My car is officially a write off, which means the courtesy car has to go back today,

as they will only lend us a car if our car was to be repaired.

At least there's only one more day of school and I have done my Christmas shopping!

We're lucky enough to have Darrens work truck to get about in over Christmas too.

And at the end of the day there's a lot of people far worse off ~ so mustn't grumble.

I had a momentary laps in concentration and like everyone keeps telling me, we all have them, I was just really unlucky and got caught out ~ BIG TIME!!!

I just didn't see the car stop in front of me.

Felt stiff & very sore for a couple of days,

but thankfully on the mend, just sore chest when I reach for things.

Thankfully everyone was ok & a huge lesson has been learnt.

Mackenzie was at home yesterday due to the strike,

So we had lunch out with the neighbours, and then she had afternoon tea around her friend's,

but once I started to decorate it I think it's going to his parents.

Mac asked me the other day if I'd done her Xmas card yet,

Last day of term today, they had a film club at school last night, which was lovely as the kids went back in the evening to watch Rango, it was such a good idea, it's all free ~ even popcorn and a drink

I've had a secret for a few weeks now and I have really wanted to share it with you all

I recently sent a few of my cards via Email to those lovely ladies at LOTV,

I was hoping they would like to share them on their inspirational blog,

Anne told me that they we're looking for a guest designer for a month so I was keeping my finger's well and truly crossed in the hope that they may pick me.

NEVER in a month of Sunday's was I expecting the lovely email from Jacqui,

She said they loved my work and would I like to join the Challenge DT,

Well I can tell you it took me all of 5 seconds to make my decision....I mean what an absolute honour!!!

Evening, hope everyone has had a good start to the week.

Thank you all so much for Mackenzie's birthday wishes,

we had a fab weekend.

Unfortunately the pool was closed, so no swimming!

We went to a play barn instead, we only had a couple of hours

to rearrange everything and let everyone know!

but they all had fun, then came back to ours

for food and another play.

Then off to Frankie & Benny's.

Mac was totally worn out.

Then yesterday we went to see the smurfs and had an easy day.

Another friend card & a silly story!!!!

Evening all,

Hope you all have had a lovely day so far,

We've been shopping for school stuff today.

We got a £5 voucher for spending over £25 on school clothes,

so I decided to nip back in and get Mac some new undies.

I could only use this voucher on Kid's clothes if I spent another £25 excluding school wear,

well as it came to £28 for I handed the voucher over and she kindly told me sorry, I couldn't use it on school wear, I told her it wasn't schoolwear, it was underwear and she said yes but she'd wear it for school!!!

I couldn't believe it, I thought she was joking, anyway after a bit of a discussion, she called for someone higher up, and thankfully she saw sense and let me use it. I mean how petty,

I know it was only a fiver, But it's the principal of the matter!!!!

Good morning, thank you all so much for your kind wishes,

My ECG was still a little high, but my pulse was 70 when done manually.

Thankfully they have no concerns. but I need to go back again next week to have another ECG and have been told to calm myself down before I go.

How am I supposed to do that if I naturally fear the Dr's!!!

Good morning to ya,

Hope you are all well, I'm a bit nervous as I've got an ECG this morning.

It all started because my BP was high & they wanted to stop my HRT

(which I'm still not 100% happy about taking)

when they checked again my BP was perfect, but my pulse was 118, I've had a monitor at home all week & I think it's been fine, so fingers crossed all will be ok.

Anyway it's challenge time at Truly Scrumptious and this week we want to see

Mackenzie finished school yesterday & we are looking forward to 6 weeks holiday.

She was a bit upset last night, a few of her friend's are in year 6 so will be leaving for secondary school and she said that she will miss them, she was quite tearful & told me she had "a very emotional day" she said that the leavers assembly was very moving and she had to be brave,

God only now what she'll be like when it's her turn LOL
