Cowgirl Tilda

Hi all, had, mostly, a lovely, easy day yesterday
Mac and I went out for a spot of lunch & she picked a few bits for the wild birds in the garden,
Then we had fun with Hama Beads, it's ages since we've played with these - will share our little projects later.
Then a not so nice trip to the Dr for me. Nothing serious - just had a few tests and have been told I'm in the early stages of menopause - Great!!! I'm only 41, have been prescribed HRT; but really not sure if I want to go down that route, as the Dr says I'll have to take them until I'm about 52, So I'm gonna see if I can chat to a nurse and see what else there is. Oh the joys of being a woman LOL
xXx
Tonight I'll share a card using my new Cowgirl Tilda, isn't she sweet!
xXx
xXx
I have used:
Magnolia ~ Cowgirl Tilda
Cosmo Cricket ~ Calamity Jane, had for ages and not sure if still available
Twill Dyed with Tim Holtz ~ Walnut Stain
SU Punched Star ~ painted with Tim Holtz Crackle Paint
Nestabilites ~ Deckled Ovals
Linen Threa for Stitched Crosses
Water-coloured ~ Tim Holtz Distress inks
xXx
Thanks for looking

Hi Fleur, Fab card! Love this Cowgirl Tilda image. Hama beads are great fun! Not sure who likes them most me or the children lol! I don't blame you for not wanting to go down the HRT road yet. Hope the nurse can recommend something else for you.

Gorgeous card Fleur, love that Tilda and the way you have laid your papers. Good luck at the dr. Remember there are lots of alternative therapies nowadays so don't rush into hrt.

Oh Fleur, what a gorgeous card! Where do I start, beautifully put together, you've brought Tilda to life with your amazing colouring. I really like that nestability and the finishing touches are just perfect. Thanks for always commenting on my blog, I try to keep up and comment on all yours but your just too fast sometimes.
Chin up on the health issue, the crosses we have to bear as a woman eh!
See you soon

Yeeha...What a great card. I missed out buying this stamp on Ebay a few weeks, ago, she is so sweet. Your distressing is brilliant, you know how to do that so well.
About your Dr Problem. I am 49 and have been back and forwrd for the last three years, but because my syptoms are only minor, (well not all the time!), I chose to put up with it for as long as I can. They offered me a Marina Coil, and although my sister said it is great, and Iam not scared of having anything done, I am hanging on in there for now. Sorry If I have not been of much help to you. Hi Fleur, ooh Tilda looks grand today you've done her proud:D
Sorry to hear you were at the Doc's as you say who'd be a woman? You get all the advice you can, we are all individuals and going the right route for you isn't always the most obvious, Good luck:D xx

Fantastic card Fleur and I love how you've coloured Tilda, such wonderful shading and a gorgeous design too. Sorry to read about the early menopause and I hope you can find something more natural to help although I have friends who've had the HRT and swear by it. Hugs, Chris x

Hi Fleur. Such a cute card. Love this li'l cowgirl. Perfect colouring too. As for HRT, I think you are wise not to rush into it. It's not always the best thing to do healthwise. Make sure you get all the information before you make a decision.
