LOTV's New Monthly challenge

I have some EXCITING news to share with you all.

As from the tomorrow the LOTV Inspiration blog will be holding a monthly challenge,

Hello, Hope you are enjoying the weekend so far.

This week at MDUC we want to see you use some

BUTTONS

I thought I'd be brave & treated myself to a couple of

"brighter" colour re-inkers this week,

This one is called "Seedless Preserve"

As usual I hand-dyed the ribbon and added a bit too much ink.

It took me 2 days to get rid of it off my hands LOL!

 I also used one of the new Joy craft "garden" dies and
heat-embossed it with frantage to add a bit of glamour.

Marvelous Magnolia ~ Special Lady

Poppy Tilda

Happy Saturday everyone!

I have another Poppy Tilda to share today.

She's just so pretty & she is exclusive to Sir Stampalot

I made this at my recent demo and as I sanded the edges 

I got a bit heavy-handed and ripped the corner,

Good job I like the distressed look.

Masking at MDUC

Good evening,

I'm back from ALLY PALLY,

I had a fab day with my gorgeous crafty friends 

& I even got myself a few treats LOL

Over at MDUC this week we want to see . . .

MASKING

I originally had my Edwin card lined up for this,

BUT then Magnolia only went and released the new collection

and I just HAD to have Princess Pea & her Mattresses!!!

Then when I went to upload on the challenge blog, 

the lovely Kat had used the same 2 stamps,

I couldn't believe it, we'd even used the same 

decorative oval & it looks like the same layout too ~

What are the odds of that?

Well they do say wise minds think alike LOL

At least our styles are completely different.

Anyway here's my take on it...

I used the DooHickey feathers as I thought they were just perfect for the feather mattresses LOL !

I  LOVE my new fern that my lovely friend Chris got me for my birthday,
 think it's going to become a favorite of mine
I've also used some gorgeous new "pins" 

which I'd seen over at Bev's blog and they are gorgeous when covered in frantage.
