My top 5

Happy Christmas eve everyone,
Can't believe there's only one more sleep until the big day.
Mac has got her new PJs layed out ready ~ she always has a new pair especially for Christmas eve.
Her sack is already layed at the bottom of her bed too!!!!
and Darren's already got bin bags at the ready for all the wrapping LOL!
I thought I'd join in with Debby and show my fave top 5 Xmas cards.
This wasn't too difficult as I hadn't made loads this year what with one thing and another!
Next year I will be a lot more organised!!!!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments, kind words and friendship through the year!
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas

Time to have fun

Good morning,
We have real miserable, wet and windy weather here today
My car is officially a write off, which means the courtesy car has to go back today,
as they will only lend us a car if our car was to be repaired.
At least there's only one more day of school and I have done my Christmas shopping!
We're lucky enough to have Darrens work truck to get about in over Christmas too.
And at the end of the day there's a lot of people far worse off ~ so mustn't grumble.
I have a card to share this morning,
It's an order for a 40th birthday and he loves skiing,
Because it's on Jan 1st I could get away with making a wintery card ~ just hope it doesn't look too Christmassy, with the snow!
I have used:
LOTV ~ Ski jump and sentiment
Magnolia papers
Tim Holtz ~ DIs and Weathered clock
Nestabilities ~ Scallop and Classic circles
Sizzix ~ Number die
SU ~ Corner punch
Snowtex, cotton scrim, buttons and staples from stash
Hope he likes it!

No card from me this week,

Good morning everyone,
Hope you are well.
I haven't made any cards this week,
But it's challenge time at

So pop over and join the fun.

I, on the other hand, got up to a bit of distressing of a completely different nature!!!!

I had a momentary laps in concentration and like everyone keeps telling me, we all have them, I was just really unlucky and got caught out ~ BIG TIME!!!
I just didn't see the car stop in front of me.
Felt stiff & very sore for a couple of days,
but thankfully on the mend, just sore chest when I reach for things.
Thankfully everyone was ok & a huge lesson has been learnt.
On a nicer note I will defo be back next week with a card.
and take care everyone!
