It's celebration time over at Polkadoodles

 I have used Champagne Celebration.  

Papers are Horace & Boo Paper Heaven 3 and sentiment is from Winnie Celebration Kit 1

I have used distress inks to colour and added some sparkle to her hair.

As always, its anything goes if you'd like to take part in this weeks challenge

Christening Card

Back again as promised,

This time I'm sharing a recent commission!

I was asked to make a Christening card & a little keepsake!

I have used the gorgeous Summer Church from LOTV

Which sadly isn't available at the moment, and not entirely sure if it will back!

I've made it very girly with the addition of lots of flowers, pearls and a bit of lace

I also made a little chipboard tag to go with it.

I was so happy to hear from the recipient, who loved it so much she has put it into a deep frame with a few other mementos

Peace on Earth

Hi, hope you've had a good week. 

I have a few cards to share over the next few days.

Just haven't had time to upload them all yet.

I adore this image from polkadoodles. 

These gorgeous stamps were extremely popular and sold out several times.

This one was is called Blessings and she's from the "Heavenly" collection

I have coloured Winnie with distress inks and have used the 

gorgeous bauble paper from Paper Heaven 2

I have kept my card quite simple as I think the image is so elegant.

The sentiment is from the  Christmas download set!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Good morning,

I'm here to share a card I've made for Polkadoodles.

The DT team have worked to the theme of "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" but as usual you can play along with "anything goes"

You know Christmas is finally here when it's time for you to leave a little treat for Santa and his team, so with that in mind I've decided to use the gorgeous image "Leaving Mince Pies"

I have coloured Winnie with distress re-inkers and, although you can't see it, I have used a glitter pen to add some sparkle to her fur.

The "snow" on the poinsettia is structure paste, sprinkled with some glitter.

I absolutely adore the Winterland paper I have used and I must confess it has been my go to favourite this Christmas. The sentiment is from the really useful "Winnie White Christmas Download" set and it's well worth a look as it has over 60 Christmas sentiments.

Hi, just popping in to share a card I made fro my brother's 70th birthday!

There's a twenty year age gap between us. He loves playing Golf so this was the perfect go-to image.

I have coloured with distress re-inkers.

I have used a "Playing Golf" from LOTV

Paper are from an old pad I found in my stash

Sending a big bunch of good wishes

Hi, I’m back with another card for my Mums 90th,
I made this one from Mackenzie
We had a lovely surprise party for her on the day.
I have used the gorgeous papers - Horace & Boo from Polkadoodles

The sentiment has been enlarged to make it the focal point.

I have distressed all papers and added a few pearls and a gorgeous butterfly for texture.

Happy 90th Mum

Hi everyone,

Back again to share another very special card.

On Sunday my Mum is going to be 90!

She does so well for her age and still manages to get out and about, 

albeit much slower than before.

I have used Delightful Daisies from LOTV  it’s out of stock at the moment,

 but Lisa has told me they’re hopeful getting it back on rubber!

As always I have used distress inks for colouring,

I love the autumnal feel of these papers too!

Wrap up warm

Hi, here’s my card for the “wrap up warm” challenge over at polkadoodles 

I have coloured with distress inks and heat-embossed the die-cut red heart stems and the winter sentiment. The “pearls” are handmade, hole punched from red paper and then added glossy accents. The trees are cut from the distress ink paper pack, as is the cream backing paper.

Ballet Practice

Hi everyone,

I’m back with another make.

This time it’s a card for my lovely sister in law,

It was her 50th birthday last week and I know she loves ballet.

I wanted to use a more “grownup “ image and this beauty from Mo’s digital pencil was perfect.

I have used distress re-inkers to colour the image, I couldn’t find any grey pearls to match, so made my own using a hole punch and glossy accents.

I hope you like it!

Polkadoodles Guest DT

Good morning,

I’m so happy to announce that I’m one of the Guest designers over at the 

Polkadoodles challenge blog.

I have used one of the gorgeous Winnie images, from the Sugar Sprinkles range

Just for you 

I have distressed the edges of the Distress ink papers which I have used,

 these match the Tim Holtz inks perfectly.

The bows in Winnie’s hair and the bouquet are paper pieced 

to match the backing papers.

I have used a couple of sentiments from the Celebration set,

 these can be altered in size and are great to add detail, 

I have added one to my die cut tag in the spray of flowers 

which are from The Ribbon Girl

I have secured my layers using tiny staples.

Mac’s 16th birthday card,

Hi, I hardly ever post anymore, but I really want to get back into crafting, I really enjoyed making this card for Mackenzie’s 16th birthday.
