LOTV ~ Gift idea

Good morning ,
YAY, It's the weekend, hope you are having the lovely weather we've had.

I have a quick card & gift idea to share today.

First up is the card, and I'm sure you'll all agree these are not my normal colours
but I feel they suit the image well.

I have made a milk carton for some treats & a small bookmark.
I have laminated the bookmark to protect it a bit.

I have used:
LOTV ~ Super Striker, (I've just noticed he's out of stock, but keep checking back)
You really must check these sentiments out,
they are fantastic value for money and cover all occasions!

The template for the milk carton can be found here
I printed of Nitwit ~ Kickin' it and then printed the template onto the other side.
I searched high & low for some chocolate footballs, but couldn't find them so I used Jelly Beans instead.

For the book mark, I used classic & scallop oval nesties and then laminated it.
I then secured a ribbon with an eyelet ~ SIMPLE!

I'll be back in a bit with the ALLSORTS blog hop,
Thanks for looking

Keep Out!

Hi, I have a little "pink" project to share today.
I love this LOTV image - It's my party!
It reminds me of gorgeous girl Mackenzie,
She's 9 and has a bit of an attitude lol!
So I thought I'd make her this little door hanger for her room,
She loves it and does see the funnyside ~ Thankfully!

It's quite simple to make:
I got a cheap plaque 50p from our local craft outlet,
but I'm sure chip board could work too.
I painted the plaque with dark brown acrylic paint,
let that dry then covered with a thin layer of PVA glue,
before this dried I went over with cream acrylic paint and left to dry naturally.
(you can use a heat gun, but be careful as the paint bubble and blisters)
This gives a crackle effect, I then rubbed it all over with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Dis
Cover with paper and embellshments of your choice.

Add some string for hanging and finish off with a little bow.

Wedding Guest book

Good morning,
Thanks for all your lovely comments.
Sorry not been by in a while.
I'm busy with the neighbours wedding invitations.
I have been trying to fit some DT work in with them too.
I needed to make a project for the LOTV inspiration blog
so I combined this with a wedding guest book for my neighbour too.

I have used:
LOTV ~ Wedding Couple ( I don't think I will ever tire of this stamp)
Sizzix ~ Tag
Tim Holtz DIs, On the edge Brackets and Tattered Florals
(I used chipboard for the flowers,
because I didn't think fabric/paper flowers
would withstand all the handling)
Nestabilities ~ Labels 4
The little bird charm was added because that will be their married name!

ALLSORTS ~ Recycle

Welcome to another fab challenge at ALLSORTS
Helene wants you to
RECYCLE
xXx
This week we have a fantastic new sponsor
xXx
AquaMarkers are a dual tipped water based, pigmented ink marker with the advantage of being water soluble. They can be easily blended, even when dried, giving the effects of water-colour paint but with the convenience of a marker. The water colour quality of the markers makes an ideal accompaniment to an artist's tool box, providing a clean and convenient alternative to water colour paints
xXx
xXx
I have recycled a tube from a kitchen roll!
I flattened the tube & covered with papers, added a tag  ~ Really not happy with the end result & was going to make something else, but ran out of time :-(
I like the idea, but just not happy with colours & not enough distressing for my liking ~ lol
Never mind!!!
xXx
xXx
I have used:
Letraset ~ AquaMarkers
Magnolia ~ Tilda with wooden spoon & Swirl
Branch punch
Nestabilities ~ Circle
Nellie Snellen ~ Doily
Martha Stewart ~ Pinking Edge Punch
Flowers from stash
