ALLSORTS ~ Twas The Night Before Christmas

Morning Bloggers!
Hope you are all good.
It's time for another challenge, Thanks to everyone who took part in Brenda's Gold & Cream theme!
This week at ALLSORTS it's my turn to pick a theme & I would love you to take inspiration from the poem

Every year, on Christmas eve, I read this with Mackenzie,
it's such a sweet, lovley poem & one definitly one of our favourites!
Pop over to the challenge blog to take a peek at the scrummy work from my lovely teamies.
I can't believe the number of pictures I took to try to get the true colours of this card, everyone I took looked washed out & "PINK" in the end I took this set in the light tent ~ not great, but so far the best!
I have used
Joanne Sheene ~ Fireplace
Inkadinkado ~ Snowflake Flourishes
Cosmo Cricket ~ Be Good
Sizzix ~ Snowflakes
Tim Holtz ~ Distress Inks, Stickles & Distress Paint
I have added a bit of sparkle to the embers!
Thanks for looking

Hi Fleur, love the card, such a Christmassy glow about it, the colour looks fine. That poem is a delight and Mac will treasure those times you spent with her reading it. My favourite film which I watch most years is 'It's a Wonderful Life' I know it's really old and black and white but I just have to at least dip into it to get the warm fuzzy glow, I know I'm daft but it's a tradition. Have a lovely weekend :0) xxx

Wow Fleur - this is fabulous! Love the distressed vintage feel, and I would love to be snoozing in front of that log fire - it looks soooo inviting!! The choice of colours and papers is perfect for the scene, and the poem is one of my all-time favourites.
