Just a quick post, ~ I'm over the moon as one of my cards has appeared in this months Craft Stamper magazine. I've being want to tell you all week, but was too shy LOL!!! Click here for a sneak peak!

2. I USED to think "who on earth would want to do card~making"
3. I used to test cement  for the steel industry, and was, at one point, the only female on a worksite of about 80 men!!!!

An apology, A card, A Gorgeous Award and an extremely long post!!!!

Good evening, hope everyone has had a fab weekend, sorry this is a real long post so I'll try to make it as painless as possible, firstly I'm sorry if I've not visited some of you, it's not for want of trying; but for some reason I get thrown out of certain blogs when using this computer. I can get in by using friend's computers & I'll have a go later on our spare, but that's extremely slow.

Pride & Joy.

Tomorrow it's Darren's birthday. I made his card a while back for an ALLSORTS challenge using a fab Penny Black image "Fly Away" he loves old aeroplanes so it was perfect.

But over on LOTV there's a fab sketch by Dawny P and I just had to make his father's day card using this , oh so sweet, image.

Darren works for a John Deere depot so I just had to do it in their famous colours. Anyone who know's Darren will know that he's always washing his car, so thought this was a fun alternative.

The only thing is Darren's colour blind, when it comes to muted shades of  red, greens & browns they seem to merge & without thinking I used lots of muted greens & browns - hopefully it'll be ok & not just one big blur - lol!
