It seems ages since I joined in at MDUC, 

I've only missed the one challenge, due to family commitments, 

but I'm so happy to be taking part again.

The title of my post has taken me back a few years, 

we had that song at our wedding disco in 1994 !

This week at MDUC we'd like to see something that moves on your card.

Well this sent some of the DT in a bit of a panic ~ Me included, LOL

But it really doesn't have to be too complicated . . .
It can be a moving tag or even a swinging charm.

I have made a wiper card, you can find the tutorial here 

 When opened, a sweet butterfly pops up!

 It's really quite simple to make and I've kept the embellishments fairly low key too.
Sorry for the poor photos, couldn't get the lighting right !

Good morning.

Yay, I finally got my Tilda card done for Sir Stampalot !!!

I wanted to get it finished in time for a couple of challenges.

 To make the rolled roses I used 2 layers of different colours and rolled them together, 

It was a bit fiddly, but I like the fuller result.

All my supplies are listed at the bottom of the post.

Mac's carol service was fantastic,

I love Flamingos,

When Mac was little she thought they were called "Fleurmingos", 

one day, at the zoo, she suddenly said "Oooh look, there's a mummymingo"

and it's just stuck, So now we all call them mummymingos, LOL

Tilda with Peanut

Hello, 

Mac's been out at a party most of the day.

And Darren's at work all today and most of tomorrow (I hate harvest).

Had a little play, not really happy with my colouring on this image,

this was the 3rd attempt and I don't know if it's the heat drying my DIs too quickly,

but just couldn't seem to get it right.  Her hair looks so drab!

By the seaside.

Good morning bloggers,
A bit of a long post today, So please stay with me !

Hope you are all enjoying the Jubilee celebrations that are going on,

Yesterday they had a church service at Mackenzie's school, followed by a tea party.

Then later a display from each of the 6 decades of the Queen's reign.

Crikey the 70's & 80's brought back some fun memories.

At the end of the day each child in the school was presented with a souvenir poster,

It said 2012 in big letters, and it had the Olympics & Jubilee logos in the corners

But when you looked closely it was made up of small thumbprint photos 

of each child in the school over 360 in total ~ what an awesome keepsake!

I can't believe its June already, Better blow the cobwebs off my Christmas stamps LOL! 

Anyway it's my turn to host the challenge over at ALLSORTS this week,

Tilda with Anchor

Hello, just a really quick post tonight, got no mojo at the minute, But;

I have a Tilda to share,

Really not happy with this one, although I adore this Tilda

she'd been sat on my desk for over a week, 

and I really had no idea where to go with her ~ if you know what I mean.

 

I'm not happy with the colouring on her face, and I hadn't got many nautical bits to go with her,

So in the end, she sort of just got thrown together as I was fed up with just seeing her sat there.

 

Anyway, today I had a much needed day at Sir Stamp, crafting & laughing with some of the other DT girls.

I got started on a scene, with lots of masking that I will share at a later date.

A sweet romance

Hello, hope you all good.

Where's spring gone? It's a bit chilly here today, 

Yesterday Darren was the perfect chauffeur and took me to the new LOTV shop in Leeds,

It's gorgeous and it was lovely to meet the team,

They were all so friendly.
