Some very exciting news

Good morning everyone I'm so thrilled!!!

At last the day is here that I can share my exciting news with all my blogging friends,

Some of you may be aware that there is an new, exciting, fortnightly challenge blog starting very soon called

Happy Monday everyone,

Hope you all had a fab weekend,

Mac had a bit of a wet weekend ~ Not of the rainy sort though.

On Saturday Darren took her to Rutland Water with some friend's for a spot of Kayaking - Well anyone who knows me, will know that I'm a bit of a worrier, so I stayed at home (watching her horse riding was bad enough)

Anyway thank God I didn't go ~ after rowing a bit Darren thought that his end was a little lower, but put it down to his weight, they carried on merrily for a bit then realised the kayak was filling with water, poor old Mac was quite scared so Darren rowed to the edge, checked it over, he realised that the drainage plug had not been put back in! Thankfully after this all was well and it hasn't completely put Mac off (unfortunately)

Sunday we went to Burghley garden of surprise ~ where there is a fab water garden. Mac had great fun & got completely soaked.

Cowgirl Tilda

Hi all, had, mostly, a lovely, easy day yesterday

Mac and I went out for a spot of lunch & she picked a few bits for the wild birds in the garden,

Then we had fun with Hama Beads, it's ages since we've played with these - will share our little projects later.

Then a not so nice trip to the Dr for me. Nothing serious - just had a few tests and have been told I'm in the early stages of menopause - Great!!! I'm only 41, have been prescribed HRT; but really not sure if I want to go down that route, as the Dr says I'll have to take them until I'm about 52, So I'm gonna see if I can chat to a nurse and see what else there is. Oh the joys of being a woman LOL

An apology, A card, A Gorgeous Award and an extremely long post!!!!

Good evening, hope everyone has had a fab weekend, sorry this is a real long post so I'll try to make it as painless as possible, firstly I'm sorry if I've not visited some of you, it's not for want of trying; but for some reason I get thrown out of certain blogs when using this computer. I can get in by using friend's computers & I'll have a go later on our spare, but that's extremely slow.

Me & My Pony

Just a quick post,

I made this card a while back for a pony mad 8 year old,

she loves blues & isn't really girly.

I personalised it with her name in little rosettes to keep the pony theme

The 8 was cut out on my cricut, I really wanted it to be in chipboard,

 but although I have got the deep cutting blade for my cricut - so far I have had no luck using it, so had to make do with cardstock.

 - does anyone else have problems!
