Just a quick post tonight
Been to watch the year 4 play,

Not 100% happy with the finished card as I'd ran out of my normal

Keep Out!

Hi, I have a little "pink" project to share today.
I love this LOTV image - It's my party!
It reminds me of gorgeous girl Mackenzie,
She's 9 and has a bit of an attitude lol!
So I thought I'd make her this little door hanger for her room,
She loves it and does see the funnyside ~ Thankfully!

It's quite simple to make:
I got a cheap plaque 50p from our local craft outlet,
but I'm sure chip board could work too.
I painted the plaque with dark brown acrylic paint,
let that dry then covered with a thin layer of PVA glue,
before this dried I went over with cream acrylic paint and left to dry naturally.
(you can use a heat gun, but be careful as the paint bubble and blisters)
This gives a crackle effect, I then rubbed it all over with Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet Dis
Cover with paper and embellshments of your choice.

Add some string for hanging and finish off with a little bow.

For Mum

Good Morning,

Today morning I have a card to share, for Mum.
I wanted to give it a bit more of a shabby look
and I was very brave, after I'd finished colouring her I let water drop off the
brush around her and just left it. So the little "splats" were intentional LOL!

I have used:
Best Dress, available from the latest gorgeous collection
Tim Hotltz ~ DIs, Chip block alphabet and Butterflight edge
Marianne ~ English roses
Wild Orchid ~ Pearls
Michele Roos ~ Digi papers

I have quite a few emails asking were I get my mesh from,
It's actually "cotton scrim" from the builders section at B&Q
you get a huge  90m roll for under £4 ~ Bargain!

Say it with flowers

Hello, Happy Saturday
Hope all is well.
Had a proud moment yesterday.
Mackenzie was given her silver award for achievement at school,
the parents are invited to the celebration assembly.
They get certificates for certain things throughout the year,
when they have 3 they are given a bronze award, then for 6 they get silver,
If they get 9 they get a gold award a gift voucher and a tea party at the end of the year.
Last year Mac got 8 so just missed out on the Gold, so fingers crossed for this year ~
but whatever, we are very proud of her.
Anyway moving on .........

It's time again for a fab ALLSORTS challenge

This week our lovely Nicola has chosen to
