Something different

Oooh just look at this, I'm so excited (little things & little minds)
I went to paint a pot the other night and had a bit of an experiment, got the idea from Magnolia magazine!
I took one of my fave Tilda's (never been inked until then).
Just been on their facebook page & she's out of the Kiln, they put it on their pics so I copied it so I could show & tell.
xXx
She was quite difficult to paint as the paint is quite thick & all her details got covered up.  You also need to do 3 coats to get a deep colour, and it does get a bit powdery as it dries. Shading her was a nightmare - She took 2 hours to finish. I kept the rest of the plate very plain - so she would really stand out.
I know she's not perfect but I'm chuffed to bits with her.

An award from Di.

Just got this lovely award from Di,
Pop over and take a look at her gorgeous blog Di's card blog
Thank you so much Di, I really appreciate it.

The rule is that I need to pass it on to 10 bloggers & tell you 10 things about me.
xXx

Here's the facts

  1. I was named after Susan Hampshire in the forsythe saga,

  2. 21 years ago my brothers girlfriend introduced me to Darren, who was her ex boyfriend - could've been complicated, but thankfully she's my brother's ex too!!!

  3. I am the youngest of 6 children - so I will always be the "baby"

  4. I am so very, very proud of my daughter - Mackenzie, she means the world to me!

  5. I've got a lovely Sprocker Spaniel, but would also love an Italian Spinone,

  6. I'm still extremely terrified of moths & spiders

  7. I lurve Gerard Butler,

  8. I spend far too much money on craft,

  9. I wish I was thinner,

  10. I worry far too much about little things,

Now, I know I'm supposed to pass it onto 10 bloggers, but there are so many gorgeous blogs I follow, so I'm going to cheat & pass it on to anyone who visits me!
I know it's a bit cheeky of me!

Elodie in her garden

Good afternoon everyone,
The weather really can't make it's mind up today, it's windy here and the sun is desperatly trying to peep through the clouds.
xXx
Mac has gone back to school - I do miss her when she's not here; but it gives me a chance to selfishly craft without her asking me to help her with her creations, lol
xXx
I have made this card for my neighbour to give to her mum, it opens up to reveal pockets which she wanted to put some seed packets in as a small gift. Being a keen gardener I thought I would use Stampavie's - "Elodie" and I have masked her and used Whiff fo joy Background stamp. The greeting & punches are SU.

Thanks for looking & hope you enjoy the rest of the day -
I'm off food shopping now Yipee - note of sarcasm there!!!!
