It's Darren's Dad's birthday soon,

so I "treated" myself to a new stamp suitable for some of those difficult to do, men's cards.

B is for bells - ABC Christmas challenge

Happy Monday everyone.

This weeks Christmas chaalenge over at ABC is Bells & glitter.

I have used my new Alva from Magnolia has she has got a little bell on her hat!

She also has a sprinkling of glittery snow around the mushrooms.

Yesterday I had a great afternoon at Sir Stampalot's new shop, catching up with some crafty friends & meeting some new faces. I treated myself to a few new stamps & some Magnolia papers.

Also had a lovely evening tonight, when Nicola & her family came for a take-away.

Pretty Butterflies

Don't know about you but I hate the weather at the minute, drizzle is just so depressing!

I'm full of cold, my eyes are constantly streaming & I have sneezed so much today!

I have made a card for Sir Stampalot using the new

Hero Arts cling stamp - Dandelion Frame

I just love stamp, and have just used a section of it in the oval.

I have then mounted a cut & mounted a couple of butterflies from Penny Black - Enjoy Life clear set.

Just Magnolia Challenge - Paper pleating

The strip of paper used is Magnolia's white lace, but you can't really see the pattern in it.

A is for Angel, ABC Christmas challenge.

Who'd have thought I'd be back with a Christmas card?

ABC have a fantastic idea with their christmas challenge, which they're running throughout the year. Don't how I will feel doing Christmas cards if we have a heatwave though. But hopefully it will help with having some cards & ideas ready for next year, after-all it is ONLY 351 days until Christmas LOL.

One of the criteria was to use a charm, missed this bit out until I'd uploaded picture to laptop and packed card in a nice clear bag to put away ready to use come December.

Just about to upload post when noticed this little detail, so had to get card out and add a charm. Luckily the little heart ties in with my colour scheme quite nicely!

and some new papers & buttons which I've had for ages - so could be classed as old.
