Welcome to the weekend,

Half term is over & it's back to school for Mackenzie on Monday,

had quite busy week, went to see my Mum and my Niece Emma was staying over with her ~ so it was nice to see her, she loved the Mini Album I made for her to give her Friend!

 Mac had her friend over all day Wedensday (I managed to squeeze in a bit of crafting) & then we went over to see another Friend all day Thursday, So yesterday was nice just to chill at home on our own, We did venture out for a brisk walk with Fletch, but it was a bit too windy were we live.

New Baby

Hello, firstly sorry for such a poor picture,

I always take my pics in the daytime in the conservatory,

or if I have to take it at night I use my light tent,

 but since I've re~organised my craft room it's been put away,

Will have to set it up again!

My card is actually soft, muted shades of lavender & cream.

The ribbon has been hand dyed (thanks Chris for the demo) and really doesn't look this dark!!!

Anyway ~  I have made this for my Niece who is expecting a baby girl,

I wanted to make a more vintage card that your typical pink!

I'm happy with the end result, just disappointed that parts the picture are dark!

Mini Album

Hi, I was recently asked by my niece Emma, to make a mini scrapbook album for her friend Lana. It's her 16th birthday and she wanted to give her something a little bit different.

My only brief was that she likes, Muffins, Fairies, Bright colours & that she's a bit crazy!!!

I've never met Lana, so it was a bit of a tall order,

but hopefully I've managed to put it all together successfully!

Autumn Tilda

Hello everyone,

Perhaps my card should've been winter Tilda, as it certainly feels that way!

I had a bitof a chance to play this afternoon,

 as Mac is going to a friend's for tea, so there is no afternoon school run!

I finally got round to inking up my Autumn Tilda ~ I've had for a few weeks, but not got round to using her.

It's my Mum's birthday tomorrow, so I've made it for her.

She's 82 bless her, she had me when she was 41, the age I am  now!

She does really well for her age,

 she has 6 children, 12 grand-children, 4 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren &

another great grandchild on the way,

She has a visit from at least one of the grandchildren every day & I think this has kept her "young"

she whizzes around the village on her bike, does most of her own decorating and all her own gardening.

I'm so proud of her & I really should tell her more!
