Elodie in her garden

Good afternoon everyone,
The weather really can't make it's mind up today, it's windy here and the sun is desperatly trying to peep through the clouds.
xXx
Mac has gone back to school - I do miss her when she's not here; but it gives me a chance to selfishly craft without her asking me to help her with her creations, lol
xXx
I have made this card for my neighbour to give to her mum, it opens up to reveal pockets which she wanted to put some seed packets in as a small gift. Being a keen gardener I thought I would use Stampavie's - "Elodie" and I have masked her and used Whiff fo joy Background stamp. The greeting & punches are SU.

Thanks for looking & hope you enjoy the rest of the day -
I'm off food shopping now Yipee - note of sarcasm there!!!!

A very good morning to you all.
This week it's my first turn to pick the theme at ALLSORTS and I'm a little nervous.

The design team have made some stunning samples using designs from this weeks sponsor

Why not pop over and take a look!
xXx
Here's my card

I must admit I felt a little out of my comfort zone using just flowers as the main image,
but I am happy with the end product!

Hello everyone, such a glorious day we are having. I have no card to show you today but just wanted to share something that brought a smile to my face.
Mackenzie has had her friend Natasha round today & they wanted to play shops, they wrote up a price list of the various garden objects they had for sale.
At first I didn't know what an "edrog ornemunt" was until I saw this little fellow on their table

Remember to Smile!

Hello everyone, hope you all had a lovely Easter.
I have made a card using one of the sweet girls from the Greeting Farm.
xXx
xXx
The flowers have been hand-made using  the retro punch, the brads in the centres have been given a touch of distressing, as I thought they looked too "new" for the style of card.
The backing papers is from a new pad by Joanne Sheene called Pastel Plaid & it is to die for, 40 sheets of different coloured plaid (may sound boring to some) but I just love it, it's right up my street!
I have also used a Martha Stewart border punch - Pinking Scallop.
xXx
I have entered it into,
Cupcake challenge - Make your own flowers.
Roses on Paper - Layers
One Stop Craft Challenge - paper piecing

Week 45 Allsorts challenge - "Rags to Riches"

Happy weekend everyone!
This week over at ALLSORTS it's Helene's first time to choose a challenge (it'll be mine soon!!!)
She has chosen a great theme -  "Rags to Riches"
For this you can recycle or alter an item.
I've got a photo from my Friend Anne's Hen weekend (just before we left for London)
It's been sitting on my kitchen bookcase waiting to be framed for ages - so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to get something done about it!
xXx

Before
A bit plain

xXx

After
A bit more special
xXx
I had a difficult job taking a picture of the finished item as I kept getting a reflection from the glass.

I have used:
Cheap pine photo frame,
Daisy bucket papers,
swirl stamp,
Tim Holtz tag,
Chipboard letters & buttons from stash.
xXx
Thanks for looking and don't forget to pop over to allsorts to look at what
the rest of the team have come up with.
xXx
Have fun
