as usual we've got typical bank holiday weather here, it can't make it's mind up!

A quick card to share this morning as I'm off to hobbycraft to get some paper - a friend has given me an order for some bunting & a matching picture frame, she wants red, white and blue, and believe it or not I don't have any suitable paper at home !!!

Then I'm off for a quick mooch around my fave craft shop Sir Stampalot as I need some ez mount, I'm sure I'll come away with a bit more than that... though I will try to be good lol!!!

I have chosen green, mainly because a friend wanted a card for her daughter's 11th bithday - she loves green & anything with skulls on it! So I thought this would be ideal.

I have used:

Gorjuss girl,

Kelly Panici - Stitches

Sizzix - skull,

Magnolia papers,

SU - tag punch,

Martha Stewart - Pinking scallop.

I added a few staples for a scrappy look.

As usual coloured with versacolor cubes!

The sentiment was made from a small alphabet stamp & punched out using the tag punch.

Princess Daisy

Hi, I'm back with another card for Squiggles

This time I have used a digi image - Princess Daisy, also available in rubber.

I have used;

Princess Daisy,

K&Co paper,

Metalic card cut into a flower & scallop using the cricut & then sanded to remove some of the sheen,

Magnolia flower,

L-Em branch punch,

SU sentiment,

Pearls,

Water-coloured using versacolor.

Skirt is water-colored using Brilliance Galaxy Gold & is really shimmery, but won't show in pic.

The papers were from a pile given to me from Lou who's having a bit of a clear out. I think I need to be next, got far too much unused stash.!

These are not my normal colours - but I set myself a challenge to use something a bit brighter than my normal muted shades.

A little birdy

Had a go at brayering for the first time after a quick lesson & loan of brayer from Lou.

I added some staples to attach the die cut bird, but they looked out of place so I pulled them out only to be left with holes, so I added some thread - which looked even worse. So I ended up pulling the bird off and making another - so now I'm sort of happy with the end result!
